Mark 5

Hey, let's get into Mark chapter 5 this week... if you have any closing thoughts on chapter 4 put them up on the Mark 4 post (b/c at the end of the book, i'll be printing all the posts and comments for everyone to have).

A prayer

Please take us forward into Your kingdom, we want to see Your will unfold as we walk with You.

Help us to lay aside our desire for gain and comfort, and take up sacrifice as our new lifestyle... Your life in exchange for ours.

This what we truly want, even though our flesh says "no", we say "yes" to You.

Mark 4 (again!)

I don't know about you guys, but I need another week on Mark 4.  So let's spend this week digesting what Jesus was is saying in this chapter.

Looking forward to worshipping with you all here Sunday night.  It'll be a 'young kids in bed thing' so if you want to put yours down here, let me know.

Going to the Garden today

Just a last minute reminder that we'll be heading to the Garden for their service this morning at 10am.

This Sunday... and next

Hey this Sunday is the day after Christmas, and next Sunday is the day after New Years.
So, let's try this:
Let's meet this Sunday morning like normal @ 10am (let me know if you're out of town or busy).
Then next Sunday, instead of meeting in the morning, let's get together in the evening to worship and wait on the Lord together @ 7:30pm.  (if you want to put your kids to bed here let us know).

Mark 4

Again Jesus is teaching... this time by parables.  This first one must be real important, he says, "Do you not understand this parable?  How will you understand all the parables?"  Is there a key here to unlock what Jesus is saying in all the parables?

"Take heed what you hear." - Jesus
(this is foundational to what we're doing)
